Queens Borough Safety Patrol, Inc. Also known as QBSP SHMIRA is a non-profit all-volunteer anti-crime and rescue patrol operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in Queens, NY. QBSP SHMIRA was founded in 2015 to provide swift and professional assistance during emergencies. Our volunteers operate a 24/7 emergency hotline, and dispatch emergency responders using two way radios. With over 100's of calls a year and over 100's of volunteer members across NYC, Shmira is the largest all-volunteer orginization of this type in Queens as well as Brooklyn, Staten Island, Los Angeles, Miami & Jerusalem.
